Providing a chance for employee feedback can dramatically increase
morale and job satisfaction
My research with over 1,000 personnel shows that
employees who feel they
often have a chance to
provide feedback to supervisors have higher
scores on multiple engagement factors than
employees who
rarely have a chance for such
feedback.

What this results shows is the tremendous positive
benefit from effective internal communications.
Successful organizations with healthy work places
value employee input, stress the need for
collaboration and connectivity, and engage in
leadership practices that bring out the best in
others.

MANAGEMENT TIP: Communications is the
lifeblood of successful organizations. It is not a
"once in a while" activity or a top-down process of
telling people what to do.  It is a continuous process
of constant listening, sharing new and important
information, and letting people know whats become
of their suggestions. This means if you're going to
ask for feedback, be prepared to take action on
what your hear back!
